Miro

Branding, logo design, website design

Miro Logistics approached me to overhaul an outdated logo and website. A brand audit showed the existing identity wasn't doing enough to set the business apart within freight forwarding. Based in Kenilworth, Miro specialises in the sustainable transport of renewables, focusing on waste paper, plastics and scrap metal.

I developed the tagline "Renewable Confidence" to sum up the business in two words. Since Miro's existing clients already know the company well, I cut the website back to seven high-impact slides built around Miro itself, rather than general shipping information aimed at newcomers.

The new logo needed to work as well on a favicon as on the hull of a ship. Its icon merges an overhead cargo vessel with an infinity symbol, replacing the old generic container illustration with a mark that's genuinely Miro's own. I paired it with Archia, a typeface sturdy enough to match the original branding while bringing a more modern, premium feel.

Since launch, the identity has rolled out across office signage, digital templates and animated advertising, and I'm looking forward to eventually seeing it on the side of a ship.
