Miro’s managing director approached me to overhaul their existing logo and website. Following a brand audit, we identified that a more robust strategy was required to differentiate the business within the freight forwarding sector. Based in Kenilworth, Miro Logistics Limited specialises in the sustainable transport of renewables. Focused primarily on waste paper, plastics, and scrap metals.

I developed the tagline “Renewable Confidence” to encapsulate their mission. Having researched the leaders in their field, I decided that reducing the site’s content would be beneficial. Their clients and partners already know the business, so the site was condensed to seven high-impact slides that focus on Miro, rather than general information about freight and shipping.

The new logo is designed for versatility, performing as effectively on a favicon as it does on the hull of a vessel. The icon, an abstraction of an overhead cargo ship merged with an infinity symbol, replaces the old generic container illustration with a unique, proprietary mark. I paired this with the typeface Archia to retain the sturdiness of the original branding while injecting a sense of modern, premium clarity.

Since the launch, the identity has been rolled out across office signage, digital templates, and animated advertising. It is a brand built for scale, and I look forward to eventually seeing it on the side of a ship.
